We have easier Access to Worship and Community space.
The new ramp and push button access door from Stewart Street have been completed. There are also new wheelchair access washrooms on the church level. This is part of the renovations that we have undertaken to make the building more accessible to everyone in the community.
Thank you to the Trillium Foundation and all our donors .
NEW
Celtic Communion service at St Aidan's, beginning March 13, 2011 8:00 am
St. Aidan’s will offer this 45 min. service on a three month trial basis to begin with, so please tell your friends if you think they might be interested.
What is a Celtic Service?
In the spirit of our patron Saint "Aidan" we will be using the Songs and Prayers from the Iona Community in Scotland. These settings reflect the Iona Community's belief that "worship is all that we are and all that we do, both inside and outside of the church, with no division into the sacred and the secular....
The material draws on many traditions, including the Celtic and aims to help us to be fully present to God, who is fully present to us - in our neighbourhood, in the political and social activity of the world around us, and in the very centre and soul of our being."
