St. Aidan's, Oakville

Onward Goes Sue Channen,

Marching to Grimsby....

The community of St Aidan's have said goodbye to Sue Channen.

Sue joined us as a student minister and continued as Pastoral Associate. Following her ordination as Deacon, she has been appointed to St. Philip's Grimsby as Deacon in charge

During her ministry at St. Aidan's, Sue has been very active in all areas of church life.

She has conducted services, preached to us, conducted bible studies, and taken responsibility for our Children and Youth ministry and confirmation classes. She has also offered invaluable support in project planning for our renovations.

The picture shows Sue modelling the chasuble and stole which was a parting "Thank you!" gift from the community at St. Aidan's, for her use when she is fully ordained.

We celebrated Sue's ministry with a picnic and barbecue following her last service with us.

All the best for the future, Sue and thank you for all you have done here at St Aidan's.
